WR: Chris Rhoten, Canyon, 6-0, 175, Jr.: Led Class 5A-4A area in receptions with 76.
WR: Efran Acosta, Caprock, 5-7, 165, Sr.: All-District 3-4A performer caught passes for 752 yards and eight touchdowns.
WR: Benny Shepard, Amarillo High, 6-3, 220, Sr.: One of two city players earning All-District 2-5A honors, averaged 25.2 yard per catch.
WR: Jonathan Davis, Hereford, 6-1, 175, Sr.: Sure-handed receiver caught 68 passes for 753 yards.
OL: Clayton Savage, Canyon, 6-0, 200, Sr.: Underrated center who handled his center duties with excellence.
OL: Toni Cognasi, Amarillo High, 6-0, 235, Sr.: Best lineman in the Texas Panhandle was named honorable mention all-state.
OL: Nathan Studer, Tascosa, 6-3, 250, Sr.: Excellent pass blocker at left tackle.
OL: Thomas Mairson, Randall, 6-0, 250, Sr.: Guard earned All-District 3-4A honors for district champs.
OL: Cameron Hooker, Randall, 6-3, 270, Sr.: Strong and talented center for District 3-4A champs.
K: Alfredo Chavez, Palo Duro, 5-11, 150, Sr.: Clutch and talented kicker who won a game on last-second field goal. Holds PD record for longest field goal - 50 yards.
Defense
DL: Rojelio Chavira, Dumas, 6-1, 240, Sr.: Named APSE first team all-state with 90 tackles.
DL: Casey Felton: Randall, 6-3, 205, Sr.: Two-way starter and state APSE MVP on defense.
DL: Chris Flores, Tascosa, 6-3, 255, Sr.: Made 48 tackles, forced two fumbles and recovered two fumbles.
DL: Ryan Blackshear, Dumas, 5-10, 170, Sr.: High-energy player made 80 tackles, 10 QB sacks, 4 fumble recoveries.
LB: T.J. Shanklin, Tascosa, 6-0, 185, Sr.: Speedy and will hit you. Made 104 tackles in 10 games.
LB: Warren Maxwell, Randall, 6-2, 185, Sr.: Offensive MVP in District 3-4A at wide receiver. But we like him on defense and his 94 tackles.
LB: Ryan Funderburg, Pampa, 5-11, 185, Sr,: All-District 3-4A performer is always in the middle of the action.
LB: Matt MacKay, Amarillo High, 5-11, 185, Sr.: Fierce competitor who led the Sandies with 73 tackles.
DB: Brian Wayne, Palo Duro, 6-1, 160, Sr.: All-District 3-4A standout helped the Dons make a late run to the playoffs.
DB: Eric Whiteield, Dumas, 5-11, 165, Sr.: Intercepted five passes, helping Dumas to back-to-back playoff berths.
DB: Bret Scheve, Randall, 5-11, 185, So.: Super soph made five interceptions and emerged as top young player in 3-4A.
P: Parker Bridwell, Hereford, 6-3, 170, Jr.: Talented Herd quarterback also strong punter, averaging just under 40 yards a kick.
